Truth is sometimes it is not what I could have done differently perhaps the actions of others had a greater impact on one’s life. If anything I would probably do the same things all over again. After all illness is illness, dyslexia is dyslexia and life is unforgiving at best of times.
Sometimes a wall is a wall sometimes things are just the way they are because it is the only way it can be. Truth is sometimes you are in control but most of the time destiny calls the shots, and there is nothing one can do about it.

For me the shorter list would be what I wouldn't have done differently!
But then making mistakes is part of learning (at least that's what I keep reminding myself).

It is all about learning and experience and how that knowledge is used and implemented. So, Yes, I would have done a few things differently. Such as – what I studied, how I bought my 1st, 2nd and 3rd car (DKW, Renault, Ford), how I saved and invested, at what stage “to pull the plug” on a venture gone bad, and . . .
Things I have done and I am glad I did – the amount of time I spend with my kids (working from home), getting married (even if it drives me “nuts” at times), certain business deals which I declined, staying in SA (and again, even if it drives me “nuts” at times), making mistakes as that is the best way to learn and grow – actually I think that mistakes-made are quite key to future success, and . . .;
Yep!
The old man was asked what the secret of his success was?
'Good decisions' he replied.
Asked how he made good decisions?
'Experience' he replied.
How do you get expierience he was then asked?
'Bad decisions!' he replied.

Eventually I would think that if anyone had a second change they would work much harder invest better and “most probably” keep an eye open for that 1 score. “Any business person knows what I am talking about” that 1 client that could have elevated your business and financial standing. “The one that got away”
That said spending your time working out the “what if’s” that is the true path to madness. Truth is in business and in life we all will have regrets “that one thing that stays broken”.
