    Garden Insect

    Hi all.

Can anyone tell me exactly what this insect is ? They have just become very common ( about 100 ) around the edge of my pool paving. They don't seem to fly ( at least not yet ). About 5mm long.

From the order Coleoptera - probably one of the ladybugs (there are scores of species and I couldn't get an exact match).
The trouble with opportunity is it normally comes dressed up as work.
