    I agree as far as software programs are concerned but as a reliable and cheap data server I feel it is better than Windows ?

    The question around running Pastel on a Linux server............according to the experts it is possible, but not so easy to get it going. It need expert Pastel instruction/help to do this.
    So, for the time being I shall stick to MS

    Switched my laptop on this morning and the weather widget didnt come up... shock horror... what was to be done... panic set in... Damn Vista! Looked out the window decided it would be wise to wear a jacket.

    Turns out i was right! Comfortable.. then the realisation set in how much i rely on my laptop for stupid things... Damn Vista

    Fortunately NONE of my machines run on Vista...............so do I get spared the trauma ? Or is there a MSXP agent lurking in the dark just waiting for me !

    Hmm lucky! Vista came as a no choice for various reasons which i wasnt prepared to go through...
