Parliament's committees to embark on provincial public hearings on Bills relating to the Directorate for Special Operations (DSO) 8 August 2008
Parliament's Portfolio Committees on Justice and Constitutional Development and Safety and Security will from 10 to 18 August 2008 embark on provincial public hearings on the bill relating to the possible dissolution the Directorate for Special Operations (DSO) - otherwise known as the Scorpions - and its possible replacement with a new division within the South African Police Service (SAPS), known as the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI).
