Executive Chef:
A trendy 5* restaurant is seeking an experienced, dynamic, innovative Executive Chef.
The ideal candidate should be:
Well versed with the current food and dietary lifestyle trends (essential)
Be innovative and forward thinking
Ability to interact positively with management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a
team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
Experience gained overseas (bonus)
Experienced in Fine Dining (preferred)
Overview of responsibilities:
Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards
Prepares necessary data for applicable parts of the budget; projects annual food, labor and other costs and monitors actual financial results; takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that financial goals are met.
Develops policies and procedures to enhance and measure quality; continually updates written policies and
procedures to reflect state-of-the-art techniques, equipment and terminology.
Cooks or directly supervises the cooking of items that require skillful preparation
Provides training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff.
Evaluates food products to assure that quality standards are consistently attained.
Periodically visits dining area when it is open to welcome members.
