Looking at it from a Pastel point of view...
If you are going to go the branch route then I can recommend that you look at getting the Project Tracker module. This will allow you to easily track the profitability of each branch and head office (or a consolidated view), and measure it against their respective budgets - all within one set of accounts.
You can download a PDF brochure of the module from the following link: http://db.tt/CicFEDqn

Thanks for that Neville. I will most certainly look at that.
If you would like me to send you a quote for the module, please send me your existing base serial number.

I will do that Neville. We are using QuickBooks at the moment and intend to change over to Pastel in the new financial year. I have a brand new package lying somewhere here that we bought a few years ago, I believe I have to now upgrade it to get up to speed. Not sure if I should upgrade it or just buy the latest ?
If your package is not more than two versions behind the latest version, then it is better to upgrade, as it will be cheaper than purchasing a new package. I can confirm that for you once you are able to send me your serial number. The latest version is V12, and some of the prior versions are V11, 2009 (V10), 2007 (V9) and 2005 (V8).
