Pastel Partner 11 annual close off

Hi. Our bookkeeper didnt close off last year so we kept processing invoices and putting them on hold in the 13th month (March).
This was so that we could send the customer their goods.
This ran into April as well. The bookkeeper has since informed us that she wont be back.
Pastel has now said that we need to delete all these invoices and do the close off for 2012-2013 and to then re-enter all the invoices we had on hold.
    My question is:
Is there a way to export thee invoices and to be able to import them again once the close off has been done.
There are hundreds and it would save an immense amount of time if this is possible.

If you had the 13th period enabled, you will have had a month's grace period before running the year-end, i.e. you would have had to run year-end before the end of March 2013.

The only invoices that you would delete would be the April invoices. The March invoices will carry over to the new financial year, as period 1 transactions. Are there many April invoices?

It is possible to export the April invoices and re-import them after the year-end run. However, whether you delete them and re-enter them manually, or you delete them and re-import them, the system will allocate new invoice numbers to them. For audit trail purposes, all the invoice numbers that you have used so far cannot be re-used, even if you delete the invoices.

Let me know if you need assistance with the situation and we can arrange a TeamViewer session.
