Post Pastel Partner 14 Price list import

    Hi Guys,

Please may someone assist me in importing a price list to Pastel Partner 14 build 14.2.1?

What format must the price list be in, excel, extended csv format etc?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Michael

The file must be in CSV format.

    Thanks Neville :-)

Where in Pastel do i then go to import these price lists?

Can one import individual price list for each customer?

How does one secure the prices so that the price per item cannot be over ridden unless Authorised to do so as admin or password protected?

    Thanks

I have attached the CSV layout requirements for importing selling prices per inventory item. There is no option to import selling prices per customer, unfortunately.

In order to import the selling prices, go to File...Export/Import and then select Import Selling Prices from the drop-down menu. Then browse to the CSV file, and click on Process.

In order to restrict users from changing selling prices, either in the customer/inventory masterfiles, or while processing invoices, set up the user in the Personalised user group.

Click on Process Options and untick the box, under Customers, named Change Selling Prices While Processing.

Then click on Menu Access, and untick the following two options: Edit...Customers...Customer Prices, and Edit...Inventory. The latter option might be a problem, as it restricts the user from creating or editing any details for an inventory item.
