How do I access a backup of a cell which was destroyed

My cell slipped out of pocket on N2 at about 80km/h (I am on a scooter). Located it it, found it 2h later. Many vehicles went over it. Still worked, but screen got worse and worse within a day and is totally black now. Using WhatsApp on PC. At least I got it back with SIM, memory card, cover and data cannot fall into wrong hands. Also managed to back it up to Samsung cloud, but I cannot see how I can get my hands onto that file.
How can I sync the backed up calendar with e.g. google (or import into google) so I can at least see my appointments?

I also made a manual backup via SmartSwitch and I have that file. Unless I am mistaken only Samsung can read that file e.g. to put it onto a new cell.
Last time I changed cells the restore function never restored apps and their settings. Most annoying. The backup I made has definitely copied apps. So maybe one has to do something special when importing to also get apps and settings onto the new cell?

No, I believe KIES is outdated. I used Samsung Account and SmartSwitch and got most back it seems.

I learnt that too, but I do not actively use gmail and do not have email on my cell either. My initial post is old, so its resolved for now.

Google drive is the best place to get the backup of your phone if you ahve connected the internet with it. I do not think there is a specific area in the phone from where you can get data back if your phone gets destroyed or dead. Moreover, consult a mobile engineer or technician as well.
