PASTEL Run-time error '424' when exporting client list

    Good day

We have upgraded to Pastel v.18, and ever since then we started having one problem after the other.

Currently or server PC started getting an error when we try to do a backup on it. The error causes Pastel to crash. I am managing to backup from a workstation though, so we are managing it, but I would really like to get it resolved. The error is:
"Backup Error (103) - Could not open the file for reading. The file may currently be opened for reading in exclusive mode or for writing by another application."

Another error is when I want to export a client list to Excel, I get an error which also causes Pastel to crash. The error is:
    "Run-time error '424': Object required".

Is there anyone with some ideas how to get all of this sorted out?

Do you have multiple log in's on windows 10 (server -Pc) ,share the pastel folder with everyone in right click sharing , and make sure folder is not read only
do you have office 64 bit or 32 bit installed ?

We have Office 365 installed. I assume 32 bit, but I am not sure where to look to confirm though.

The folder is properly shared with all users. This is possibly why I can backup the pastel, being a workstation. Still a mystery why the server can not backup.

There is a 100 things that can be wrong , did the server upgrade to Windows 10 from 7 or 8 , if so , then best advice will be to backup everything do a clean install of Windows 10 , people have lots of problems with just the upgrades.
It seems you dont have the correct writing permissions on the Pastel folder , are you logged in as administrator.
try this , right click on the Pastel folder and take owership.
