Hi guys
I have a pretty simple question regarding the earth wire in DB boards.
I'm going to be installing a dedicated 60A circuit breaker for a brewing system I'm installing in my house. I'm not an electrician but I fully understand what needs to be done to install the new circuit.
The only thing I'm unsure of is the wire size for the earth coming from the db board to the brewing system control panel. As the circuit is 60A Im going to be running 16mm wire from the db board for the live and neutral, but the main earth wire in the db board in my house looks to be pretty thin, maybe 6-10mm. Does that mean that the earth wire running from the DB board to the brewing system control panel only needs to be around that same size, even if the system will be pulling around 52A at times?
Just for the record. The house is rated at 80A.
Any help would be much appreciated
