    EMPLOYEE INCOME TAX CERTIFICATE

I worked for a private company from 01 September 2010 until 23 June 2011. I have just received a mail enclosing my EMPLOYEE INCOME TAX CERTIFICATE [IRP5/IT3(a)] from my previous employer. She mentioned on this certificate that I worked from 01 September 2010 until 28 February 2011, which is not correct. I would like to know how will this affect me?

    Kind regards

IRP5/IT3a's are tax year specific. The balance of your employment term falls into the next financial year and a separate certificate will have to be issued for that in due course.

So nothing to be alarmed about at this stage
