    Signing off Financial Statements

I'm not an accountant yet. I've opened my own office and would like to find out if I could draw up Financial Statements and let an accountant sign them off? (Is it legal?)

I don't see any problem with that. Its what most cc's do at the moment. Your issue would be getting an accountant to sign, as he would have to have faith in what he's signing and would most likely run quite a few checks = costs.

I second BusFact's view. Essentially you'd be performing the services of a bookkeeper.
