    Internet Explorer 9 - impressive!

I installed IE9 yesterday afternoon. After using it for nearly 24 hours now, I have to say I'm quite impressed.

What really just struck me now was when you've got a plug-in that is slowing down page loads, it tells you and you can disable it - even when it's Microsoft's search assistant

Pity it is not XP compatible ! I just installed IE 8, which is the best I can go.

I've been using it for a few days (maybe even weeks) now and it seems to work quite nicely. The only issue is that I can't use it to do banking on Nedbank anymore. Their website doesn't allow me to transact using the IE browser anymore. I'm sure they'll fix this soon though.

The other thing is that those confounded bank protection programs are telling me I haven't downloaded them again. I have, but maybe it has to be redone with IE9.

That's odd - I've just logged onto my Nedbank Banking site with IE9, with no hassles whatsoever. In fact, this is the introductory message I get after logging in:

Yeah, I last tried it last week some time, so it looks like the issue has now been resolved. I didn't think it would take long. However there must have been an issue for them to have bothered to write that message with that heading.

It didn't bother me too much either, I simply used Chrome to do banking with Nedbank. Just found it surprising that they were caught a bit short like that.

Time to upgrade to the next rung up the ladder. I have a copy of Vista RC if you're interested

Yes IE9 is fantastic and have no problem getting onto Netbank. As you say it was probably a once off problem.
