I'm not sure what's going on. This morning my cellphone's got no connection whatsoever. But it's intermittent! After several turn-off/on cycles I get various results:
- Only phone - no data
- Edge data, but no phone
- HSDPA data, no phone
- GPRS with phone
So I turned of the "automatic" network connection, selected the "Search networks" option in the settings menu, selected Vodacom ... and after 1 hour it's still showing a message of:
The connection icons show GPRS and Phone at full strength.Your network mode will be changed to manual. Registering on Vodacom-SA...
Wait a minute! As I'm typing the data icon just changed to EDGE! Are they changing something in the Sandton area at present?
