    Runtime Error 2147024770 (800700e) Automation error ..................

    On Friday my Pastel was fine, I opened this morning and boooom, I got the above error code. ( Nobody told my PC that the holidays are over ! )

    If anyone gets this error when opening an application like Pastel.......................here is the fix !

    The scrrun.dll file became "unregistered" for some reason or other ( I do not know )

    Fix it by going to "run" then "cmd" ( This opens a dos window ) now copy and paste the following : regsvr32 %windir%\system32\scrrun.dll and enter. ( Win XP )

    Your scrrun.dll is now registered again and your application should open 100%

    Phewww ! I saw myself reloading Win XP but Google came to the rescue !
