    What are the odds of me getting an approved loan from the government? I'm pretty sure I will pass, so if I can get the loan it means I can have it converted to a bursary.

    I think if the SDF funds were efficiently applied, the vast majority of tertiary studies could be very heavily subsidised, if not free altogether. 1% of the nation's payroll is no small chunk of change.
