I think I'm still persona non grata there, although I haven't tried. In truth, I've enjoyed focusing on a narrower range of issues. Duncan in particular has really got me thinking....

And a holiday is so good for perspective, creativity and fresh direction. Have you any idea how tricky it was to get that shot! The light issues were shocking. Still not a perfect picture, but good enough for the job (just).

But how's this for poster perfect?

Maybe we should turn this into a "picture with the funniest caption" thread.

Hmmm. Not so sure about the lecterns. I think it would make a good Speakers Corner though one day. What better symbol of freedom of speech, tolerance and respect complete with raised platform.

I've got to say Cape Town and surrounds is one beautiful city. I ended up taking well over 600 photos which is far and away a record for any place I've visited so far. Some picture perfect weather also helped, although as you can see it wasn't perfect on the day I took that particular shot.

I've also got to master the intracies of this particular camera. Some filler flash would have helped with a wonderful birdlife shot that would have been amazing but for way too much backlighting.
