Certification of Car Diagnostic Tools in SA?

I was asked to find some car diagnostic tools, but the various attributes of the standards are not told by the manager. So i am here doing the research, need someone to help me on this.
I have looked the informations on google and found there were CE, ROSH,FCC,ISSO... certifications for car diagnostic tools. How is it in South Africa, what certifications are accepted here?
    Thanks all!

Our local standards authority is the SA National Standards Authority (SANSA), previously known as the SABS. Searches on either should produce results.

If you're outside of SA at the moment, you might want to use the custom Google search tool on this site (upper right hand side on this page ) for a more South African context search result.

ISO and CE certainly do carry some weight locally when the particular standard quoted is relevant.
