Google Analytics count problem in South Africa

It seems Google Analytics is under-reporting traffic from South Africa at the moment. If you're looking for relevant information, this seems to be the most relevant discussion on Google's help forum. Although it doesn't look like we've got to answers yet, we seem to have identified some possible causes.

According to my stats, it looks like the problem kicked in from Wednesday 8th September.

Well, it's back to normal. No explanation as to what went wrong, though.

And the missing data is gone (no surprise there, I guess).

Picking on the different ISP services, it's clear Telkom SA and Vodacom traffic wasn't being counted, but other services such as MTN were being counted just fine.

    Wierd one
