    if you cant understand how to connect it and run it after this...best you spend the R450 to get someone to do it

    Well I was wrong about the braided hose but the suction is definitely on the front.

    I was at the store where I got my pump and they got a new shipment in today. The box is the same and the pump is still the same thing. However it had a nice sticker on the side. Now my box doesn’t have this sticker so I never knew. But here is the truth:

    Sorry to get here so late!
    usually the intake of a pump is the centre of the impeller so that would be the lower one.
    the outlet is on top.
    your pump looks like it has a sump (offset centre of impeller, must be at the bottom) to hold water so that it remains primed all the time.
    The braided hose is connected to the cylinder (pressure cell) which has a diaghram inside that controls the amount of pressure that remains in the outlet system, so the pump stays off if you draw a glass of water or if you wash your hands quickly.
