So Cele blames it on racism?

I cant actually believe what i heard!

Cele now comments that journalists are now targeting the 500mil Rand new police HQ deal simply because it was given to a black businessman. What an absolute load of BS. (Can you imagine it was white deal - if we really got to do this... then what a stink...double what it is now)

It was in a previous thread but seriously these stupid politicians need to stop using this racism card and rather try to circumvent in order to achieve a past we can really call a past and everyone moves on for what the future could hold.

Cele, our new potential embarrassment, it really is all about the fact you gave some ANC connected guy 500Mil... thats really all it is about!

Playing the race card is way easier than explaining the R500 million deal. It's going to have to be quite some property...

I suspect this is just the start of the smoke and mirrors routine they'll have planned.

So much for equality... Well I just hope it helps them in catching criminals in the end of the day...

so whats another 500 million wasted...i think if it ever came out out how much money actually gets wasted by the goverment then we coulds all go eeeish...but 500 million...small change for the goverment....the stadiums are finished they need to blow the money on something.

i believe if the systems worked like the cameras along the freeway i dont mind spending the money...but to have a R150 million camera system in durban so these people can look into the flats and houses...a bit of a waste

if the police station was gona be some high tech effecient crime prevention bulding... i would say great...the big question would be shouldnt you build prisons first...otherwise where will they put all the criminals they catch?

If you count the over spend in RDP houses @ R45,000.oo ea

It would be like R500,000,000.oo spent on a R220,000,000.oo building the overspend costing 6,222 RDP houses.

That is like 691 RDP houses from each of the nine Provinces???

How much does a hospital or a school cost???

The problem with RDP houses is it buys votes , but doesn't swell the coffers of the party that much.

When gov. pays an exhorbitant rental for a building, the grateful business owner is far more likely to give a healthy donation to the ANC party that helped secure the deal.

There's a municipal election coming up next year, and propaganda cover ups parties campaigning costs money.

Well nothing is free, so if someone made money than good for them. If we have to pay for it even better because the person in question wouldn’t be stuck with a check that will bounce...

As for voting and everything else, standing in line is like a holiday

yinne okes. maybe us CDI's (currently disadvantaged indervidyills) did invent racism, but the CAO's (Currently advantijjed okes) is showing us how its beeng refined.

Jokes aside, even tho none of us will admit to supporting the previous regime, that is where the whole racism thing started. And the government we have now are just too unoriginal(?) to think of any better excuse...

Graft and corruption? Always been there, always will be. Live with it.
