    Rental software

Anyone any ideas on some open source/free software for tracking and billing rentals such as AV equipment etc. I would really appreciate any suggestions if there are any. Have tried a few but not liking what i'm seeing. The paid ones are a bit much for an experiment so trying not to go that route.

    Hi garthu

I use this program in my shops, love it. Went through a few free pos programs and this was the best, even if if cost a couple of hundred. Think it can do rentals, but there is a free demo, so explore a bit before you pay for it. Have been using it for over a year now, and still think it's a bargain.

    Ok, so it's $200 (it's gone up I think)

    But, well worth it. IMO
