It seems that South Africa isn't the only country with this problem. Some guy in the UK was prosecuted for child porn activities after his ID was stolen: http://www.webhostingtalk.co.za/showthread.php?t=3529

Yes Another day and agin I didn't even properly speak to someone
Msisa that was supposed to phone me back this moring never did so 10:00 o'clock I phoned and he was in a meeting and I left a message so 14:30 I phoned again and he was not in his office obviously he does not have the time to assist me with my complaint so I ask for anyone else that can assist me and guess what there is no one I keep holding on for hours and get routed around in circles speaking to the same people over and over again so clearly the government will not assist my next step is to take this matter to the DA hopefully they will be able to assist me

    Commercial Fraud

I know you guys are chatting about individuals being defrauded but I would also like to warn against commercial identity theft. We recently had a client who was victim to credit application fraud in which they suffered lose of almost half million rand.

Details of the fraud can we found on our blog at creditmanagement.co.za. In fact there is so much commercial fraud that we are actually have a seminar on this issue (together with Business Rescue ito the Companies Bill) on the 23rd April 2008 in Durban.

You must pay him like everyone else. Even R50 is enough unless you look rich.

Veronica. Your problem is no one is going to get his brother in trouble. We must look after each other. I think you must get the temprorary licence and renew like has been suggested before.

Do not make trouble. The people will only ignore you.
