    Correct Cable Size

Hi the question I am asking is as follows a sub d.b. is put up + - 20m away from the main d.b. the sole purpose of this s.d.b. is to supply 3 x 11kw motors roughly at 22amps per motor, the motors will be so wired that they start to in sequence so the starting load will be one motor at a time so say the running current of the motors should not exceed + - 66 amps , each motor is individually supplied through a overload relay, would a 16mm 4 core SWA Cable be enough or what do the regs say about this the cable is supported in the air indoors by cable tray, what is the diversity factor for motors sequentially started? Any info thanks.

you should get the CBI squared program it is a valuable tool for quick calc like this...and it use to be free...and yest according to cbi program it would be fine...beware of the fault level at the panel...if it is close to the sub station.
