    Budget 2010

A few stories on Pravin Gordhan's 2010 Budget presented yesterday.

The fuel levy increase of 25c per litre seems to have attracted the strongest criticism.
The idea of an incentive for employing youth is something new and interesting. It seems the details still need to be fleshed out, though.
Education has been pushed up the priority list - and crime too.

Most everything else was pretty much as could be expected - overall a fairly good balancing act.

Perhaps the biggest threat to keeping the budget on track this year will be civil servant pay increases - something to keep an eye on.

Copy the URL of the page you want to link to (right click over URL in the URL bar of your broswer > select copy).
Then you can drop it straight into the post you're making (right click > select paste).

Or for something a bit tidier select the text you want as your link, click the link button in the editor (globe with 2 link chain) and a pop-up will appear and you can paste the URL you're linking to in there.
