    Clearing procedure for perishable goods

I have obtained market for organic fruits and vegetables and my farmers are ready to ship the goods to me here in SA but I do not know the process of clearing them and if there is any duty to be paid.

Since this is not a one time business, I intend to import 2 to 3 times a week and need to know all the details before I can embark...any ideas?

Approach Department of Agriculture to check on requirements with them. I'm not sure if there are import duties applicable, but that would be taken up with Customs (SARS).
