I read a really good article on managing geeks this morning. It certainly has a lot of interesting observations that I tend to agree with.

But this little line got me wondering:
Periodically, bring a few key IT brains to the boardroom to observe the problems of the organization at large, even about things outside of the IT world, if only to make use of their exquisitely refined BS detectors.
What would happen if you brought a couple of IT geeks into a sales and marketing brainstorm session?
