    New Phone features 'baffle users'

    read here

I consider myself fairly tech savvy. when it comes to most things I can answer in a flash. I will ,however, concede that when my boss asked me to try make something work on his blackberry (a feature that would clearly be useful, so there is no way in hell they could leave it out), I was ever so slightly puzzled. any way, anyone else have similar problems with mobile phones?

Make a telephone call? Look up a number in the contacts list?

And I've told you before - when it makes that funny noise, you press the green button and say "Hello"

But seriously, they've got a point. My wife has got a phone that has speech recognition or text-to-talk or something wierd like that. No settings required for it to function perfectly. But can you set the keypad to auto-lock so it doesn't make phone calls while it languishes in her hand bag???

No way. That you've got to do manually, every time. Normally after I've phoned back and told my wife her phone must really love me

I think mobile devices have gotten to a point where developers need to reconsider the technology that actually needs to be put into a phone... Just the other day I struggled to find a way to display 24 hour or AM/PM time display on my windows 6.1 platform! I eventually found it in a secluded corner waiting patiently for me to arrive...
once there was a man. the end.
