Signal loss during Currie Cup final

The ABSA Currie Cup final for 2008 may be over, but I'm sure the consequences of what happened to the TV feed aren't. About 10 minutes where the well-being of my TV was in serious jeopardy.

And that feed was going out all over the world. How embarrassing

Blame it on the weather - pathetic! Let's hope by World Cup 2010 we'll have learnt the value of redundant parallel backup systems!

OK - that's just an excuse to say

    SHARKS RULE!

    But still...

I'm amazed by the Jo'burg support for the Sharks. Morticia was keen on the Sharks too. Was it something to do with the fact that the other half of the final was the Blue Bulls?

    A clue to early origins?

One of my staff member's wife is ex Bloem - and she's a die-hard Cheetahs fan. Makes for a bit of tension in the household whenever the Sharks are playing the Cheetahs, apparently.
