    Debt collectors??

This is a bit off topic here but I feel I must post this.

My business went belly up and had a hard time keeping my family afloat with only my wife's small income.
We were unable to pay full school fees so they sent me a summons to appear in court in 5 days. On the 4'th day I went to the school's lawyer to to tell them that I was to defend my case. The lawyers "Debt Collector" told me that my case was heard that morning and due to my absence they had won the case.

What she told me was hogwash. The case was not heard as weekends do not count in the "5 days" So I left it as such. The next day, in my absence, the case was heard and as I was not present it was "no contest"

Thanks to the internet, I prevailed eventually.

I have overcome and am now back on my feet.
