Mboweni is a technocrat with an impressive political record and, as the record shows, he quit all his political offices upon becoming governor. He is a man of great resolution. He exhibits more flair than the average person, and is brutally ambitious. If in due course it emerges that he has started to position himself as a presidential candidate, it would come as no surprise.

He has certainly shown himself to be a man of resolve and has always been willing to call a spade a spade (see quote below).
