A really interesting article here from IOL.
London - The government should take care not to antagonise "our white people" with black empowerment schemes and affirmative action, top South African businessman Tokyo Sexwale told an audience of South Africans in London last week.

And it was time for former freedom fighters to stand up and tell President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe that they cannot support what he does.

Sexwale spoke at a meeting of the British South African Law Association on black economic empowerment (BEE) in London last Tuesday evening.

With empathy for his largely white audience, Sexwale explained the need for BEE as a tool to address the social injustice of the past and uplift those who were previously excluded from the economy.
I wonder how we can get the message back that for 1 million people already, his message is too late.
