    Staying up-to-date with financial news

    Hi there,

I have recently started investing on the stock exchange and I want to stay up-to-date with the latest financial news in SA.

I know there are the more obvious things one can do like watch the financial TV channels or listen to the radio but realistically I just don't get to do that much, with exception to my drive home from work.

It will (hopefully) be very useful to hear where and how everyone manages to stay on top of happenings and trends in that regard.

    Thanks!
    Kevin N

    Kevin,

Read Business Day (especially Ben Temkin's columns) and Finweek, and look at the Stock Exchange News Service each day. Keep your eyes open for listed companies that seem to be doing well (and doing badly for that matter).

    Hi Graeme,

Thank you very much for your response.

Will definitely start giving those sources a read.
