Would like to set up a Debit Order for my customers

I looking for information regarding a Debt order system.

I have costumers on monthly contracts but its more and more diffuclt to get them to pay on time.

I would like to know if any of you have tried and tested any companies?

I believe ABSA has some sort of system.

    Hi Rob

We used to use the absa system, but had to have a seperate account with BureauFocus to use the absa system. Was also costly. ( not sure if it is still the same ). Also problems as any unpaids / returned debit orders were only advised via post ( about a month later ).

Moved about 6 years ago to www.netcash.co.za and never looked back. Costs are good, service excellent, debit order master file online ( if you want it ) and also credit card gateway for online transactions if you want it.
    Watching the ships passing by.

Oh boy - I'm with you there, brother. It seems to be a trend just at the moment. We're really having to crack some whip on this to reverse the slide.

I was going to also recommend netcash, but I've also had some approaches from elsewhere of late. I guess there are options, but it's quite heartwarming to hear such a solid endorsement for netcash.

Somewhere along the line, netcash came up in a discussion on e-commerce gateways here. I was quite impressed with the way netcash responded, but read it and decide for yourself.

Netcash works well, but don't expect it to be fully automated. You need to submit the debit orders every month, and won't know if it's gone through or not, until you login to their system and check. We use it, but I've decided that I'm not going to advertise it, since it's more admin overhead. If the client's accounts bounce you still need to get hold of them and get the money out of them.

That would explain why the one crowd that is bugging me to use their system is making such a song and dance about their reports.

really? May I ask who it was? I don't think there's a law against sharing such information. In fact, I think sharing such info will give suppliers (in any industry for that matter) an idea of what the client really wants, and what he can get from the competition

Absolutely not - and I have no problem sharing it either. It's just not immediately to hand

There are two companies that have contacted me recently offering debit order facilities. I'm just not sure where their bumpf is just at the moment. But when I find it, I'll post the details here for sure.

    Hyphen System

    Hi,

We have just started using the hyphen system and it seem great. It can be integrated into your software to update itself on a daily basis. Contact Piet Reinecke 011 3030310/082 3330086.

    Hi there Rob

Netcash can assist you with this. Simply click here for more detail or feel free to contact us on 0861 558 558 or email us.

Softux - the systems can be totally integrated, there are various options. It's only on the web interface that you have to create and authorise batch files. We have various other clients that have totally automated all their systems.
