Jacob Zuma just can't keep out of the news. Here's how he feels about it (from IOL)
ANC deputy president Jacob Zuma received the National Press Club's Newsmaker of Year award on Friday night saying the only thing he wanted was to be left alone by the media.

"I'm sure you would say it is the price one pays for being a public figure," Zuma said as he was presented with the annual award at a function in Pretoria.

"Partly I agree, but I think the price should be considered, (one) can't overpay."

Press Club chairman Patrick Hlahla said the award was not given to Zuma on merit but because he dominated news with both the Schabir Shaik verdict and his public sacking by President Thabo Mbeki from his post as deputy president of the country.
