Electrical contractor registration

Hello

I hope i can find help on here.
The company i work for has a electrical contractor number with a wireman already, i am a registered person with a wiremans licence that was recently employed, i wish to be registered with the same contractors number so i can also make out COCs for the company, how do i apply, and who do i send a application to and any contact numbers or emails would be appreciated, because absolutely no one at the DOL answers their phones. Also I am located in Gauteng

Hey bud, best bet is to phone ECA SA JHB, they help out so much and do a lot for you aswell at a small fee like R200. Basically do the governments work.

I phoned them today and got an email back before I even had time put the phone down. Really big ups to them. Once I get my ducks in a row want to join up with them. They do seem to care which is refreshing.

The process is the contractor must apply to the DoEL to add you as a registered person on their electrical contractor registration.
Experience of the process of contractor registration at DoEL seems to vary from office to office.
