I am in the digital marketing side and from my side, i would say that you need to be visible on social media platforms. Get in front of your target audience. yes it can be overwhelming sometimes but worth it.

One small business option is to go to Takealot Marketplace

But, in order not to get lost among the big sharks there, we recommend using the analytics service TakeaBot
It will help you always win in the buybox with the help of autopricer, it has the most complete analytics, allowing you to wisely manage your money and make the right decisions, as well as a unique sorted by category database of top sellers, helping you to choose the most popular and saleable goods.

For more information please visit takeabot co za.

It depends on what exactly you want to do.

If you want to do ecom, and you have decent on-site SEO, and enough content, you may be able get away with search engine traffic only.

But if you are into a competitive market like weight loss or web design or marketing...

Build an audience on social media.

On the flip side, if you are selling a solution to a problem that people do not want to talk about...

Don't expect people to engage with your content on social media.

It all comes back to (a) what you want to do, and (b) your typical customer profile.
