    Power relay used as changeover for invertor supply to db

    Hi all this potential customer an Electrical engineer wants to use a 30 amp dpdt relay to switch power from council to 2000w invertor to db lights and plugs circuit breaker.first issue is that the relay he wants to use for self manufactured changeover is push on lugs to carry the load.if the invertor will supply 8amps ie 2000w then basically his lights are covered . But he needs to have this system to work tv. gate motors.and a wash machine.is this not a bit far fetched.please advise.thank you.ps after this exercise he also wants a coc?
