    Just another tip for when replacing an oven element.

    You do not need to open the back of the stove in order to disconnect the element. Inside the oven, remove the screws securing the element, pull the element towards you gently and the connections are accessible in the oven.

    Put a washing clothes peg on each wire preventing it from slipping back through the hole before connecting the new element.

    After connecting, remove pegs and secure element.

    Only sort of switching we did was selector switches but not major on it but still cool technique.
