    Using PVC product outdoors

    NO, just no.

Why not, the next time you are driving around, take note of all the PVC conduit hanging between the supports, it look terrible and in most cases the coupling are not glued in properly, which results in the cabling being exposed etc. The PVC turns a off yellow colour and becomes very brittle.

While on the outdoor topic, drilling holes into the water proof membrane on a roof, dont do it.

IF you are wondering why you have damps spots all over your walls inside the house, did someone install a PVC conduit or trunking, that would be a good place to start looking, no mater if it was installed a week ago or 2 years ago. The most common damp issues we find are directly related to an installation of the electrician, plumber gutter company or anyone who might have drilled holes and installed wall plugs.

I totally get what you are saying but is there an alternative way to secure the conduit?
