    You do not understand, brother.
    Being diabetic, bread, bread rolls, pies, rice, potatoes, pasta or anything starchy is a big no no for me.

    But

    Once a month I spoil myself with braaibroodjies. On that day I don,t braai meat, chicken or fish, only broodtjies, and we have a feast.

    It's amazing how something so simple can make one so happy.
