This type of business is not suited for a manufacturing business or even a business in which you hold physical stock and have a brick and mortar business.

If you look at Takealot, they work on the same principle. They have no stock, they receive the order, get the bucks and collet the goods from the supplier and deliver.
    A very low risk business.
I have a friend who owns a huge property rental website (kinda like AirBnB) - He does NOTHING - The agent gets 25% of the rental and he get 25% of what the agent gets. Once he website got set up it became pure passive income.

Sorry to chip in, but Takealot have a huge inventory holding. Huge. They have warehouses in Jhb and Cape Town that I know of. But I understand what you mean.

I've asked a number of my clients why they don't sell on Takealot and they all say that Takealot just take waaaaaaaaaayyyy too much margin for themselves.

The person with the 2 % profit margin (selling only) ... started his business at 55 ... made a shyte load of money and has since sold the company and retired very comfortably.

I asked him why he never went out to site to offer advice (he knew his product) ... his reply ... because I might miss that 2 million deal while out on site.
Comments are based on opinion...not always facts....that's why people use an alias.

We might collect a lot of ideas but then the next important step is to take a step forward and execute the idea. Success or failure is part of any business
