Question Sectional title Body corporate PAYE registration?

    Hi All

I would like to find out if it is required for a sectional title body corporate to register for PAYE and UIF?
We have casual workers that do repairs and maintenance and they earn R2000 a week.
They are not full time employed
All the weeks through out the year probably adds up to 2 months.
However the R2000 a week looks like they should pay PAYE on that amount if I look at the SARS weekly tables.
So the question is if we need to register for PAYE and UIF numbers and then deduct the SARS amounts from their wages?

If an employee works more than 24 hours in a month, the employer is required to register for UIF.
I am not going to risk trying to answer you on the PAYE question.
However, I will point out that if there are no employees with a PAYE liability, you can register for UIF with Department of Labour and remit payments directly to the UIF.
