Pastel Xpress v.19 - Sales invoice import error - first line must be a header

    Hi All!

I'm trying to import sales invoices in Pastel Xpress V.19. I tried using the template, as well as exporting a Sales Invoice I created in Sage, but in both of them, when I try to import, it gives me the error "First line must be a header". I do have a header line as well as detail lines underneath, and even if I try to re-import the sales invoice that I exported, without changing anything, it still gives me the same error on import. There are no spaces after the word "Header".

I checked my Regional Settings as well and confirmed that in both Windows and Excel, my decimal character is set to a point and not a comma.

Not sure where it is going wrong? Any help would greatly be appreciated!!

I have attached a copy of the file

    Thanks!
    Henry

Try export the file again, but don't open it as a csv. Open it in notepad and see where your fields are missing.
Using the Partner invoice template (don't have Xpress 19 installed at present) you are missing a few blank fields at the end of your header - try adding ,,,, at the end of each header line, after the 1 and see if that then imports?
Your detail line also seems to have to many blank records at the end. After GL code 6, you would normally have 2 additional spacers - you have 6, , ,,,,,,,,,,, - would suggest it is 6, ,
Also - try "Header" and "Detail" in "" - not sure if yours are or aren't as these could have been dropped opening the .csv ?
