EntryType // what do they all represent?

Hi there,

I'm in the pervasive database and get the below results. Question: Could someone (Neville I'm sure you know!) tell me which each number represents, please? If not for the entire sequence of EntryTypes (not shown here). Then just for the ones shown in the results?

Returns:

select Distinct EntryType from OpenItem where dc = 'C'

Retruns:
EntryType

        2
        7

ahhh. Sorry, stupid question! I see where those numbers are coming from. If I go to Setup > Entry Type ... it's just the debit/credit of each cashbook. Got it

That will also vary per database, depending on the number of cashbooks / journals they have setup.
The names of the entrytypes can also be pulled from the database. They are under the ledgerparameters file - entrytypedesc01 to entrytypedesc90.
