    Hellermanntyton

I have to give credit where it is due.

I have a hellermanntyton YAC5 ... which gets used a lot ... the other day while building a control panel ... fitting bootlace ferruls ...i heard a click and that was it ... the crimpper would opening automatcially ... it is too old to send back for a warranty claim ... and didnt expect in my wildest dreams that they would even consider repairing it.

I took a chance and contacted the branch in my area ... was put through to a person who deals with this stuff ... and informed that i just needed to return it and they would repair it.

I am imppressed ... I collected a brand new crimper today ... it seems they decided to replace it rather than repair it
