Question Print Quote to PDF - FILENAME automation

    Good day,

We generate quotes, invoices, statements etc. to PDF format on a daily basis.
Currently we use a PDF printer which automatically names the file "Document.pdf" and points the file location (in windows Explorer) to whichever the last location used was (possibly not the folder where you'd like to save the quotation).

    Is there a way to:
    1) generate PDF's using the QT-number (or any document number for that matter) as the filename? (eg: QT12345.PDF)
    2) point to a default location like: "G:/PDFs/QUOTES/"

This small thing would make our lives much easies!
    Thank you
    Marius

There is nothing I can think of that works 100%. You can setup the customer so they accept electronic documents. You also go into setup Company Parameters. Under the formats tab, tick to store electronic documents. This will put it in a location (which you can't change) - the documents folder in your company directory. If you email out an invoice it will save the file there, as Tax Invoice IN123456. This doesn't work for quotes or statements though.
