Please could you assist; a friend of mine has a domestic lady working 5 days a week (employed through the company). She is looking to reduce her days of work, for financial reasons, and would like to know what are the procedures for doing this? 1. How much notice would she have to give her employee, I presume 1 month? 2. How much would she have to pay her, because normal retrenchment is 1 week for every year worked, would she have to apportion this? Thank you
