Only a receipt needed for amounts less than... R5,000?

    Hi there,

Below a certain value a tax invoice is not required, but rather just a receipt in order to claim the VAT. Does anyone know what that amount is? I seem to recall R5,000?

    As always thank you,
    Michelle

    Hi, it is R50

The R5000 refers to when an abridged tax invoice is acceptable.
